At least it gave some of us a chuckle =p
My own opinion though, is that Microsoft would be more likely. So many reasons as stated above, some of the stronger ones being:
- More diversified as a company, with relatively little investment in gaming
- Company with stronger visions in other areas
- Previous statements from executives at the company referring to MS's relative ambivalence towards gaming
