There isn't anyway to fix it, as Canada has no negotiating power to actually fight for keeping its jobs, unlike America who has far more people and can. Or are you talking about America? If thats the case, closing borders prevents illegal immigration = more jobs and fairer wages for Americans. Trade deals in general cause the job loses, so getting rid of them at leasts help with stopping the bleeding. Trump has said he will fight for American jobs, and well that waits to be seen.
