I think only Smash Bros. Making a definitive edition, with every stage from both versions, every dlc characters, including Ice Climbers and Wolf (and Pichu!), and three or four new characters, would make the game worth 60 dollars again.
And I seriously think it should be it, with Mario Kart 8, it's enough. Otherwise would be bad propaganda. People's going to say the Switch doesn't have own games, only ports (it's not going to have it's own smash and mk...).
Besides Nintendo already ported other important games to the 3DS (Mario Maker, Yoshi WW and Hyrule Warriors). I think they should stop porting already, you can't milk much a game that's not even ten years old... Look at Zelda TP. Barely broke the million mark. Maybe porting some Wii games in HD could work, like Punch Out!! (which I think would look amazing in 3D on the 3DS) or Kirby's Epic Yarn maybe?
