There are some instances where it will be a good feature. That issue is that those instances where it will be good - are in games I won't have any interest in playing.

Same for me in most cases.  Hell, on obnoxious games I even turn off rumble if possible.  We certainly don't need 'HD' rumble.

Whenever I read comments like this, I can't help but think back on Nintendo's old consoles and how many innovations they started that later became standard in the industry.  Innovations we didn't think we needed but now can't live without.  Don't be surprised if the next PlayStation and Xbox systems "borrow" this technology.
