That's called boycotting a company, it happens all the time and is not nearly as outlandish as some people are making it seem. It's also known as putting your money where your mouth is. There are plenty of things which have caused people to temporarily or permanently stop giving money to a particular company, including several cases with MS and Sony.

Ok well if that's the case, then if this Boycott becomes popular among wii owners then it looks like i will be buying a ps3/360 to play some of ubi's franchises since all this boycott will do is turn ubi away from wii.
