My favourite RPG on the Xbox was TES III: Morrowind, which was just this huge complex game that i could get lost in for hundreds of hours, it had so many things to discover and then going straight into Mass Effect gave me that same sense of amazment and wonder. It wasnt the longest RPG ive played and it was fairly linear but the world design, the characters, the choices and consequences came together to fill that gap that Morrowind left. Whilst i do feel the sequels didnt live up to the first one, Mass Effect will still always be my first last gen RPG and a sci-fi RPG that i dont think will ever be topped for me. Morrowind is so damn good. I don't think any other RPG has inspired my love for the genre more than Morrowind. It will always have a special place in my heart.
I still need to play Mass Effect 2 and 3. Gotta hurry with Andromeda coming out.
