Kind of agree. While everything else in the tech world has netflix, so it's not hard to pop out my phone to watch or something, I do wish this had it. I'll have to see when this releases how I use it. But I could also have seen this being a replacement tablet for me. A decent internet and netflix and it could do that. Be nice to have the OPTION to watch netflix on the plane instead of being game only. Though planes charge rediculous for wifi, so probably wouldn't anyway. So not sure how much I woudl use it. Never use Netflix on my tablet unless somewhere that I can wifi free, which isn't in car/plane/ect. So if I do, it's usually on my phone anyway. But don't really netflix away from home.
What was trash on teh Wii U? Only thing I hated was the fact that it played on both teh TV and tablet same time. Basically had to throw a blanket over the gamepad to not have some glaring light in the corner of my eye while watching. But other than that, I found it very good. Nice to control and navigate. Also the gamepad let yo ulook at things like cast and stuff while the movie was playing. |
You can now use Netflix in offline mode and completely bypass ridiculous airline wifi charges. I would need Switch to allow that option in order for it to become my new tablet.
