They made a bid to buy a piece of land to build huge cargo, warehouses, etc., so that they could run their operations in the EU from here and we were very happy to sell it to them. But last week it has been blocked by the very pro-American Minister of Defence, though. Coincidently just as a US armoured division landed in Poland... Nobody knows what's going to happen with it now and what the real reason behind the decision was, since media reports that a big battle for the Czech oil and gas market between Chinese and Polish companies could have played a part in this as well. Either way, nobody envisioned that and this means a step-back for the Silk Road for now. |
Is this the same Silk Road that will go thru Kazakhstan and Russia?
