I wouldn't exactly call paying for a "feature" to be the worst element. Otherwise that would be the worst element of everything we own or service or paid activity we engage in. If you want good online services, then you need to pay for the cost to run those services or the companies will bleed into the red. Good online infrastructure is expensive and I'll gladly pay Nintendo for a better online experience. You heard that they brought brand spanking new servers right? And you're aware that they plan to do something new with the online service. I have a feeling you will be disappointed if you think the price point will be "cheap". Though I've speculated that there might be two different price points which would be priced on features. Like most, I actually thought the online gaming aspect would be "free". But hey! Gotta pay for those shiny new servers some how.

Yeah, since you replied I'm sure you can take the ticket. Please outline the details of Nintendo's Online service. Outline what features it has and why the subscription fee is worth it. Also explain why the new voice chat method is so relevant to the system as a whole and why Nintendo thinks it's "forward" thinking?

If "plenty" was revealed please sell me on it's concept. Also since they "showed" it. Care to toss us all a link of where they physically showed us the online service? I don't recall seeing it at the conference specifically. Never saw any reports of it being demod on the show floor either.

PS. The sarcasm comes form answering this question on multiple sites over the course of the past couple days xD

If you quote me, make sure what I was referencing, your original post, is still visible.....So this is your original post "Wait they actually showed something? Care share with the rest of us what you know?  I mean if they got the wrong idea and you know that they took the worst elements.... well. Please share the deets :3

Also I'm pretty sure Xbox Live charged at launch. I know for a damn fact it had a subscription fee by the time Halo 2 launched.

And this is part of the next one, in response to me. "

Also explain why the new voice chat method is so relevant to the system as a whole and why Nintendo thinks it's "forward" thinking? So in one, it's tell me why they got it wrong. Then in the next, it's tell me why they got it right. Ha. I'm not a supporter, but I'll be sure to make use of my own personal ignore user function.

I didn't bother quoting it to reduce clutter as it was in the quote above, but I'll leave it all untouched for you. I never changed any of my proposition.  Your claim is that they showed us plenty of the online service. I'm asking you if you could share this information because I think I may have missed it... I don't know, maybe Aliens abducted me and I thought it was only a second or perhaps it was Nano-machines that caused a time paradox through my computer. Either way I'm sure many people here would love to know this kind of stuff. No need to be rude about it but if you make a claim. You're kind of expected to provide evidence if you can. If you can't then just say it's a theory or that you have a hunch. You kinda sound new to this internet stuff.
