 The Switch is more comparible to the Wii U than the XB1 or PS4, yet is a 9th gen console. That doesn't exactly make its prospects good.

And the Wii was more comparable to the GameCube than the PS3 and XBox 360. Remember how that went?

Now, I'm not saying Nintendo will succeed in recreating the crazyness that the Wii was. But the point is that power isn't the only aspect that justifies a product's value.
