So the Wii launched in 2006 at $250. Not sure if it came with a nuncheck. And came bundled with Wii Sports and one Wii remote.

Funny - $300 in todays US dollars just about *exactly* equals $250 in 2006 dollars.

You don't get a packed in game with Switch, but you technically have the equivalent of 2 wii remotes in the joycons. It just seems funny that people are calling the Switch overpriced when in real terms it's priced nearly as well as the Wii was in the first place.

Of course - PS4 and X1 are far more price-competitive than PS3 and 360 were in this era, but likely really because PS4/X1 have been out much longer.
