A lot of people did.
I chose to wait as there were some details that made me unsure if I wanted it day 1 post the presentation. Now that I am sure, I will just go to my local Walmart to pick one up. My Walmart is slower but always get good stock. Similar with black Friday deals and even the WiiU launch.
I show up a few hours before midnight, kick off a line and then get one. WiiU launch I was first in line (about an hour before anyone else showed) but they were turning people away at midnight. So I'll show up early and just hang out with my son who is also going to buy one.
