Oh so the DS4 is superior because you can recharge it with an extra battery or extended cable that, surprise surprise, you need to buy separetely?Oh comon, you can do better than this. Not to mention that you need to be close to a power socket that as far as I know, its not always next to everyones coach, let alone within the reach of a charges cable.

What? You don't need to buy any extra cable or charger for the DS4 controller. It comes with a USB cable for charing the controller in the box and the controller has a USB port. Nothing extra needs to be bought to charge the ontroller. And it doesn't matter where you need to be or if its a couch or not. The bottom line is that if you want to play you game while charging your controller its possible. And that is the point of all this.

The real problem here is that not only you are nitpicking, but you are complaining about an nonexistant issue.I mean, if the Switch came with 5 eextra games, a metal detector and a smartphone, it would be great, added value, but you need to see the cost of it.Yes, getting a battery inside the grip could cost only an extra 5 dollars(Im guessing, have no idea how much it costs), but its still an extra 5 dollars cost for Nintendo, an extra cost that is through unnecessary.

Nitpicking? Non existant issue? Ok fine... then why is nintendo making a seperate grip that cost $30 that also enabes this non issue? If I am nit picking to complain abouyt this, then nintendo must be al kinds of stupid and wasteful to invest in making accomodations in their production pipeline just to accomodate such a feature.

And lets do the math:lets assume that Nintendo sells all of its innitial shipment in 2 weeks. So thats 2 millions.Nintendo will be getting an extra 10 millions dollars extra on profits. How is that ignorable? They made a seperable grip just because of that, for people like you that think 20 hours of charge is somehow not good enough for one playthrough session in an item that holds long enough for 99% of the costumers. In another words, its a nice option, but an unnecessary one, and thus why they are selling separetely.

LOL...... and with this there is no point to continue any of these kinda discussions with you.

And you resorting to calling me a nintendo fan and dispensing it as mere blinding defending the company shows just how much thought you put into the matter.

Grow up..... there is nothing wrong with being called a fan. I am a sony fan through and through. The literal definition of being a fan just means you support something. Being a fanboy means you are fanatical about that thing you support.  There is nothing wrong with being the fan of something, that is very veryu very very different being called a fool.

Oh and in his case you are blindly defending something. Cause veen if what you say is true, there is absolutely no reason other than a cash grab why they didn't just include the USB grip in the box as opposed to having anyone have to go and buy it seperately. We are talking about a USB port here...... USB PORT. That little ommission means that as is, its IMPOSSIBLE to play the switch on a TV and charge the controller at the same time unles you are willing to spend an additional $30. Think about that for a second.

I really don't know what else i can say to you. Go to GAF, majority there feels the same way I feel on this thing. If you don't bring shortcomings like this to nintendos attention, how can they possibly improve? Thats what a proper supporter of a platform should do. But instead you just gobble up whatever they throw at you and help them attack everyone else? well good luck with all that.
