That's not the point. If you didn't charge it beforehand, you can't play, that's what's important here.
It's exactly as a mobile phone would be with a 20~ hours battery but no charge possible without turning it off. You don't need your phone while sleeping anyway so you just have to plug it before going to bed, right? Who needs to plug his phone while using it? You forgot to plug it last night? Too bad for you. But hey, your mobile manufacturer gained $2 more thanks to that and you only have to adapt your use to your hardware limitation, so that's fine...
