It looks like the Joycon Grip that bundled on the Switch (299USD prices) will not able to charge the Joycon. Apparently they are different entities. They have one with charging capabilities but it's not the one that included in the Switch, both have different name.

What if the Switch is charging using the USb, not the dock. Does that charge the Joycons?
