To be fair, all accesories are priced witha decent mark up. It cost sony/MS no more than $18 to make their controllers. Yet the sell them for $50-$60.

This is what Nintendo needs to stop doing if they want people to actually buy the Switch.

Reminds me of New Super Mario Bros U not supporting the Pro Controller at launch, and to make matters worse you couldn't co-op with the gamepad at all.

This is exactly my isse, you hit it on the head.... I don't mind accessories to be sold, but my isse is the kinda things nintendo makes you have to buy seperately. Ethernet port? Just look at all the empty space in the dock... they could fit that in there? Seperate grip just to be able to charge your joycons and game at the same time?A paid online service that requires you to have a smartphone to use it fully? I really don't get what nintendo are thinking half the time.

Sarcasm aside, would it really have killed nintendo to put a USB port on the grip? And I am not even talking about putting a headphone jack there too which is something they also could have done. 

Imagine this, this is the first "home console" you CANNOT play on your TV and charge your controller at the same time unless you BUY a seperate accessory to serve as a USB passthrough. They should be adding conveninece features in, not taking them away. Unless of course they are suggesting taht no one wpuld wanna use their console like that. Which puzzles me cause they made a $30 accessory just for that.
