I wonder if this is even an issue.
The joycons are reported to have a 20hr battery life and they can be charged via the NS itself.
They way I see it, you'll play for some long period of time (which is assuredly less than 20hrs) and then you'll place them back on the console. By the time you come back (likely over night etc), they will be fully charged again.
I think this one is a meh issue at most.
I'm more worried about how they handle VC and price of online service considering the rape-mentality demonstrated on some of the hardware/games.
