I highly doubt it will become an e-sport. Arms being sucessful depends on how well Nintendo sold the thing. Splatoon was sucessful because of the accesibility of the game, because it was a twist in a popular genre, and because it was really well marketed. I think Arms has potential too. But only time will tell us.
