So this is the first Uncharted game I have played.  I'm Slightly dissapointed that I'm joining a series at the end rather than the beginning, but hopefully I will pick up the Nathan Drake collection at some point.

First things first I've heard alot of praise regarding the graphics, best graphics on ps4 etc and well In game it looks..... Nice, not amazing, but yeah pretty good, however the cut scenes are absolutely stunning. There was one scene where the main character and his wife were chilling on their sofa, and the acting, voice acting, motion capture and graphics were so good I literally could have been watching a movie. Outstanding.

Gameplay on the other hand seems abit hit and miss, I'm only upto scene 8 so far but gunplay seems a little strange, the enemy AI so far had been shocking like non existent. Also it seems Sam can just stroll about in front off enemies and they won't react. Odd.  The gameplay kinda jars against the cutscenes too in that they are so good and realstic and then boom I'm jumping ridiculous distances, have a rope the magically unattaches itself from things and Nathan is a complete and utter mass murderer ( gta5 has this problem too) . The locations are quite impressive though so far. Spanish coasts, prisons, Scottish Highlands etc.

On some levels I've played aswell there seems obvious paths to take aswell but there not right so the game just kills you until you go the way the game wants you to go if that makes sense. It's kinda hard to explain but yeah if your route selection isn't the one the game designers want you to take it ain't working regardless if physically there is no reason as to why. If you've played it you should know what I mean maybe someone can explain it better.

So yeah I dunno I don't remember say TLOU having dodgy AI or gunfights in where the Enemy would actually climb on top off the box where you was taking cover, lol. I'm enoying it so far especially the Voice acting and storyline. But it definately feels somewhat lacking compared to TLOU in the gameplay department.
