Sony is obviously the best right now, notice how people are struggling to find faults from years ago.
PS4 is the best value, can be had for less than $300, biggest games library, most exclusives, brightest future (hell it has more exclusives this month than some platforms for the entire year). It's a well balanced 1080p console that gives you the specs you pay for with no gimmicks. Even the PS4Pro is amazing value considering the RX480 costs nearly €400 itself in Europe.
Sony has fixed a lot of problems and they seem to be the company that listens to fans. They have single-handedly saved the console industry and kickstarted the recent Japanese gaming boom on consoles at a time when publishers weren't sure whether they'd succeed and mobiles completely take over. This is why it took so long for this gen to get started because many new AAA titles weren't greenlit until publishers saw the hype and then sales numbers of the PS4 and pushed for remasters in the meantime to have something to sell.
