However, with the Wii U never dropping much in price, Nintendo refusing to drop the price of their 1st party titles til years later and only by ~$10 or so, VC games being WAY overpriced, and with the price gouging that's going on with the Switch, Nintendo has taken the top spot. It doesn't help that MS had to drop a lot of their shitty policies and drop prices. Yes, they were basically forced by Sony's standards, but they still did it. Nintendo thinks they can charge whatever and diehards will pay for it. Unfortunately, they are probably right for the 1st ~5M units sold.
