Considering the leaks said it was a port of the first game with new content, I'm guessing they only recently decided to call it Splatoon 2, rather than face criticism for having more Wii U ports than new games. Also, I feel like paid online is really going to hurt Splatoon 2, unless the price is alot cheaper than the rumored $5 a month. I can't see most of the Splatoon fanbase paying $5 a month honestly. |
