1. We all know Nintendo doesn't give a shit about graphical power, the philosophy they follow is one of artistical progress and looks. This has worked in the past for them with the wii better then most of their other consoles, which is fine if there isn't any other platform that supplies the same options ( or is as easily available). But, currently you can get plenty other games with this this setup on the other 2 consoles, and ofcourse on tablets and phones which generally speaking are superior to the switch.

2. Spreading wings, putting their games on display on different platforms economicly profitable or not and more importanly being of great quality or not is a problem. Suppose the games are good will it actually turn people towards getting nintendo hardware or let them wait for the next game release on non-nintendo hardware. Are the gae of lesser quality this is even more debateable, why get pokemon go aka an halfassed game if you can get a fanmade game which is much more closer to the actual IP on the handhelds

3 Selling points, does the switch even has a selling point these days, hardware related? imo nah. Gamewise you could say yes a few games are proper gems but how much more of the same old mario kart do you really want? hell the best smah bros was melee

Do not be suprised when it doesn't outsell the wii U

1. The philosophy they follow is gameplay and innovation. The artistic style being used for their games allow them to look as good or better than AAA games on other system do. Mobile games still have a long way to go before being considered artistic, and the superior tech they run on hasn't shown us anything remotely close to Zelda, Mario, or Splatoon on the Switch. What sells on mobile are games that can generate revenue quickly (Clash of Clans, Game of War: Fire Age). These are not impressive games imo.

2. This is already being done. No one here can say that Pokemon Go didn't play a part in Sun and Moon's monstrous sales.

3. The amount of games that will be available on the Switch will equal the amount on 3ds or greater, since this is a unified system. Hardware related, the joycons have a lot of tech in them. The Switch is almost on par with current gen consoles... in tablet form, which justifies this. Any core Zelda or Mario being available on the go is very enticing to many.

As per your last statement, tell me right now that you believe that a hybrid (Handheld and console) system, with all of the respective level of software support, with much better reception than the Wii U (Even though many are more cautious now because of the Wii U), selling for the same cost as the cheaper Wii U sku did, along with already major titles like Zelda, Mario, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade 2, kart, smash, and others releasing this year alone, will sell worse than the Wii U.
