And this game is running in 1080p, 60fps - even in splitscreen.
No, Nintendo is quite clearly not the problem. Anyway, who cares about Fifa, that's a game for football fans, not for actual gamers (although one can be both of course). The football crowd is not all of a sudden going to switch to the Switch because it has the latest Fifa games. They'll just stick to the HD twins.

Apple vs oranges really. How would you know if this is more or less demanding than FIFA? Certainly not by showing a completely different game getting to 1080p60FPS. 360 and PS3 also have a few 1080p 60FPS ones. What does that say about FIFA? Absolutely nothing.
Compare FIFA on all different platforms. 360/PS3/WiiU is 720p60FPS with last gen engine, PS4/X1 is 1080p60FPS with last gen engine (FIFA 14-16) AND current gen engine (FIFA 17). Why would you expect a Switch version to not only match the current gen's 1080p but also the transition from old to new engine, when all of EA's current games were made with X1/PS4 in mind. A downgrade is obvious. Now because they're using the old engine on Switch, 1080p60FPS in docked mode is not out of the question.

Please show me a PS3 or XBOX360 game that looks that good while running at 1080p and 60fps. Fifa is hardly know for its cutting-edge graphics or impressive AI. It's a lacklustre and unimpressive franchise. Also Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is reported to run at 1080p and 60fps, even during four-player splitscreen. And I think Arms also runs at 1080p and 60fps.
