The point you're trying to make with the thread title question doesn't really matter, it's not like you're only allowed to buy launch games on launch day. It's about always having games to play. Having more games better ensures this'll be the case for more people. Of course it isn't reasonable to expect a fully fleshed out library on day one, but certainly more than 7 or so games is fair.

Me personally, I'm able to enjoy a variety of different types of games so the Switch line-up could be fine for me. The launch titles Zelda, Bomberman, and Setsuna should definitely last until Sonic Mania and Yooka Laylee, but I'm worried about from then til Splatoon 2 which I'm going with worst case scenario being August release. The only game inbetween to my knowledge is MK8 Deluxe which I'm not interested in. This probably wouldn't be a concern if there were more games available. Then again, it's not like my 3DS n Wii U exploded.
