Why would they change the numbers if the numbers MATCH what sony said in their Press Release? Wii at 100,000 (more like 103,000) since deember and PS# at 50,000 (More like 47,000). Those numbers are within the acceptable range of what sony said themselves (and Nintendo too).

About the weekly thing... This is for the sony fanboys... a little class of math.

If you sold 21k on launch week, 6k on second week, 4k on week 3, 3k on week 4, and 2k on week five (just a little over the 2k nintendo sold that same week) to a total of 37.5k on 5 weeks (my early numbers add to 36k but im weighting the "hundreds" I had rounded down on them) this is an impressive number for australia. but now, we only have 10k for the remaining 9 weeks to get to 47k (the number on this site that is very similar to sony's own). Those 9 weeks PS3 has not only been outsold by nintendo but in most cases by double the sales (Wii sold 20K in those same nine weeks).

Not only that, but they are fighting neck to neck with x360 with some weeks with the x360 selling better.

So, if they said that in a week by week sales they were the best selling console, they were lying. thats wuite simple, because the last nine weeks were not very good for soy in astralia, given that they had a strong launch with 37k in the first 5 weeks. (not as strong as nintendo's or xbox's if you align launches in the charts, thay follow a really similar sales pattern with the wii just overcoming xbox this last week) I guess the xbox is selling to the levels of PS3 in australia due to saturation of the market.
