No. Really not.

I mean maybe you want to have your Nintendo games on your favorite system (Play Sta Tion Four or Xbox One) but other than that I do not see any reason to do so.

Nintendo got the games and they are just at another level on that area compared to Sauny and Microsoft)... And they are coming with very good systems; the WiiU was too similar to the Wii at the end and did not really sell that much but overall Nintendo is usually VERY successfull with their hardware on top of their software. So why would they do that; they have a unique position in the gaming console market. 

I'm hyped for the Switch. This system and what they envision for is awesome imo.
