So how did Street Fighter V sell on PS4? The 3DS was the biggest flop in the last 15 years? You do realize this game will most likely be the next main-installment of SMT, right? Do you know what console the previous entry released on? The 3DS. Obviously Atlus is satisfied with its sales or else they wouldn't have revealed a sequel for the Switch. And how would a game like Persona 5 be worse off if it became multi-platform? Such bias, lol. |
Atlus is also releasing a new SMT game for the 3DS, no problem about that.
But how can you even try to say "older sister of the Switch = 3DS"? And you dare to talk about bias! :D Yeah, you're right, let's forget about the Wii U, we can even say that the previous Nintendo home console was the Wii, so Nintendo has a 100M userbase and is in fact winning against the 50M of PS4. You're right, sorry ^^. And you even push to pick ONE game, not even exclusive, to say that exclusive games don't sell on PS4. Great.
Now, try to think again about everything we wrote, but without the 3DS in the equation, because the new 3DS game is not the subject here, we're talking about the HD home console game.
New console with no userbase and doubtful reception/sales = more risks, so more incentive to publish games to other consoles as well, especially when the other consoles are well established. Not hard to understand this really simple business point of view, is it?
