The dock is sold by US$ 90, maybe removing it could save 50 bucks. Either way, I can't see why the dock is so expensive why the joycons are 80 dollars, etc. A joycon plus the grip is 110, you could buy two DS4 or X1 controllers. The freaking Pro Controller is 70 dollars. They are out of their mind.
Japan will probably buy it, but they are giving the entire 3DS market in US/EU to smartphones and tablets.
I can't believe people are considering the possibility that the Switch will outsell the PS4 in a year where the latter will get tons of games and probably a price cut. Around the Switch's launch date, PS4 is even getting Horizon, Mass Effect and For Honor. Nintendo has to cut the price ASAP or they will be absolutely destroyed in sales.
