Of course it cannot compete in a head to head competition, since the PS4 has more than a 3 year advantage.But the first year is already alot better than the Wii u, and personally better than the PS4 first year.
Switch problem lies into acessories prices and the stupid online payment.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
