This IS some crazy stuff. Apparantly many, many people have seen these things. They are allegedly a super secret aircraft, designated as TR-3B, or Astra, and is part of the Aurora project. They supposedly cost $3 billion each. If you are to believe the whole story some people tell though, you would have to accept that the technology for the 3 engines on the tips was reverse engineered from alien technology, which sounds like a bunch of sci-fi nonsense to me. I don't know what to think of this, but it really would not surprise me if they were testing stuff like this up in Nevada. Another thing is, why in the hell would world governments hold back gravity disruption technology?? |
I could think of tons of reasons.
1) Fuel too rare. Why make something public that nobody could use 2) Fuel somewhat rare yet has no other practical use. By keeping it secret they keep the price down. 3) Considering how fast these things can move... and that they can move super sonic speeds without a sonic boom... they really aren't safe for mass use. 4) Announcing them somewhat allows other governments to understand how it works and work on them. |
I suppose those are good points, especially number one and number four. I don't like the idea of groups of people holding back technology though.
The guy who supposedly knows a lot about those things says they use highly pressurized, supercooled, fast-rotating mercury plasma. Whether something like that would have any scientific backing at all, I don't know. I do hope that one day technology similar to this will be commonplace, though.
