So yeah, Switch is $299 without a game and without a proper controller (only that weird Switch controller wher you can take the left and right parts off). Probably wont be doing any good. Launch games are extremely bad with Zelda being the only noteable game, and even that is cross-gen. Also, Nintendo's network will also become paid like XBL and PSN for online gaming in Fall 2017 for the Switch. Accessories are also extremely expensive. The Pro controller is $70, 2 Joy-Con controllers (1 left, 1 right) is gonna cost you $80, a single Joy-Con controller is $50, a Joy-Con Charging Grip is $30 which means a Joy-Con Charging Grip + 2 Joy-Con controllers = $110 for a full controller and the Dock Set is $90.
Overall: YIKES.
