Isn't Obamacare considered a failure by everyone?

It was never what we actually needed, IMO. What we need, is the same exact thing every other "1st World Nation" has, and that is some form of actual "Universal Healthcare" coverage for all natural citizens. But the ACA, "Obamacare", wasn't a "failure", it still removed a nasty ability by insurance companies to deny you even getting insurance because of a "pre-existing condition", IE the exact reason that most people would NEED insurance, becuase they have health problems/needs. It also made it so more people were insured, in the millions, though there are STILL millions that are not coverd in some states.

It isn't perfect by any means, and wasn't the full step we actually needed. In fact, the worst part about the ACA was introduced by a Republican, if I'm remembering correctly, and that was the stipulation that now says everyone HAS to have some kind of insurance, or they get penalized. That never should have gone in. Punishing poor people who already can't afford healthcare, by charning them money for NOT having insurance, is sadistic.

It's hilarious to me that so many idiots refer to the ACA as "Socialism", when it's hte most Capitalist thing going. The biggest winner of Obamacare, outside of not being able to exclude people anymore, was the insurance industry.
