I'd have to say sort of.
I won't go out of my way to buy a unique edition, but if there are choices at the time of purchase and those choices are similar enough in cost, i'll buy the one that appeals the most.
As an example, if Nintendo does a limited edition ZeldaBotW at launch for NS and it is not more than about $50 the cost of a normal NS, then I'll buy that. Otherwise the standard black we've seen is all good to me.
