The Witcher influences on the gameplay are obvious and I love Witcher (Guerilla brought in some CD Projeckt devs to help with the game if I remember correctly). I loved the robot dinosaur designs ever since the very first leak like 2 years ago. The graphics are excellent, especially on PS4 Pro. Lead mission writer of the Witcher 3 is working Horizon.

They hired the cinematics designer, technical designer and quest designers of Witcher 3 and lead writer of Fallout New Vegas, basically best parts of each game. They hired a bunch of veterans from other big games too.

They have built an A team.

Except for the combat, which they is inspired by Monster Hunter which is like the best thing to be inspired by. Stay away from Witcher 3 combat. :)
