I'm saying that building a console that is user friendly , offers great experience and has third party support is much more important than exclusives.

All of those things are critical, yes, but so are exclusive titles. For example, you think the Xbox would even be here without Halo? That IP single-handily kept the brand relevant. Eliminating the importance of exclusive content (including games) leaves you without a strong understanding of what the industry is about.

So you make good points, but I'm just saying that exclusives matter, whether they sell like Halo 3 or Shadow of the Colossus.

You think 50 million people who bought a ps4 bought it for uncharted 4 and bloodborne? If you take away ps4 exclusive it wouldn't even make a dent to Sony's install base, same with Microsoft. Microsoft og xbox lost money and didn't sell well because it didn't have third party support. That is the reason why Microsoft rushed 360 and are now using UWP to entice third party developers to develop on their platforms. Xbox wouldn't be here without third party support and Microsoft knows it. Nintendo is about to get yet again another rude awakening that they need third party support along with an adequate online system.
