That'd be awesome, but I'm pretty sure MS still owns the IP and I highly doubt they'd sell it to their competitor. Than again Nintendo sold Rare to MS so it's slightly possible

Why not. MS will recoup their losses on this project, PG will continue to have work and Sony has another exclusive, all solved amicably and to the best interest of every party. I doubt MS would sit on the work that has been done and refuse offers, they're never gonna bring it back themselves, after x years the work will be too outdated to be salvaged.

Of course we don't know what happened behind closed doors, it could be that the game never worked, but considering Kamiya never failed to deliver in his 20 years of game making and Microsoft's habit of cancelling games, I don't think the studio was at fault.

Hmmm, I think if MS does own the IP they wouldn't sell it to Sony out of pride. Right now, Sony is currently is beating them in sales. It would kinda be like rubbing salt in the wound if they sold it to Sony. MS would be handing them one more exclusive to their collection. I'm not saying it'd never happen, but I'd see MS selling it to another studio cause at least it might have a better chance of being multiplat.

Maybe one day we'll find out what happened to the game and why it was cancelled. I still feel bad for Kamiya :(
