The fact that companies drop the drm after a set amount of time or when it does get cracked - is a good sign. the settings are a big improvement over zestiria and symphonia. Bamco's tales PC team is slowly improving just like SE's did few years back. Hopefully the next game they port over whatever it will be as good or better than this when it comes to options. As always gonna wait when it's cheaper. Bough zestiria about 4 months ago (barely a year after its release) for about $7 + $5 for the dlc (which I could have gotten for free but I was in India and no net at the time -.-) |
Tbh, no one has ever managed to bring forth a mountain of factual evidence that suggests denuvo being a huge performance hog or a bigger issue. There have been bad PC ports that sport denuvo, yet some people are quick to pin all the performance issues of those port jobs on the DRM itself. Games like DOOM had denuvo and that game runs extremely well on PC.
The way it's implemented, is to secure those day 1, week 1, month 1 sales, if not for a few months more, then when they have secured the sales they wanted, they then remove denuvo. Even if it gets cracked and they remove the DRM in a short amount of time, they still make money back from it in general.
I'll be waiting for a price reduction myself. Bamco is something for me to be aware of from time to time. They might show some inprovements, but they still have to keep that record going.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
