Getting the last word on the internet really isn't good for anything. He's shown that he won't change his mind, and neither will you, so prolonging it won't do anything other than increasing the chance of it getting locked for flying wildly off-topic, when it's mostly just splitting hairs to begin with.

Besides, looking through the thread, his opinion is definitely in the minority, so there's no need to prolong it on your end anyway.
