I'm average by European standards (perhaps even short), but I'm tall or a little above average here in the US.
Honestly, I stopped caring about my own height a long time ago. I used to care because no kidding; it felt like I grew a whole foot in the span of a couple of months. Although sometimes I wish I could be smaller (I prefer taller guys, its kinda hard to find anyone over 5'10" where I live), but I don't care anymore.
I don't envy shorter or taller people, although I probably wouldn't date a 5'2" guy... Or a 6'5" guy either. 5'8"-6-1" does it for me .
