Well I've had my tv a year and by the time they've sorted out all the new technology and are doing HDR justice with 1500cd/m2 as its meant to be is probably a couple of years away. Some of the HDR tv's available today are a joke. There is a Hisense tv with 200cd/m2 that claims to be HDR which is half the brightness of my non HDR 4k tv. I guess too that by the time decent spec tv's get to mid to low prices will be a lot longer. All depends how long it takes to make high spec panels at low prices I guess.
