Xbox one is more or less 25mill behind 3 years into this gen, do you have any idea what sort of numbers Microsoft would need to pull just to catch up, let alone win, this gen?

Let's put this in perspective, the PS3 launched when the Xbox 360 was under 10 million units ahead, and despite worldwide sales of the PS3 being higher than Xbox 360 for most of its retail life, it still took the entire gen to claw back that 10 mill lead and slightly push past.

 

Xbox one is 25 mill behind, and only has around half a gen left, in order to BREAK EVEN with ps4 they would need to be outselling the PS4 worldwide at a ratio 4X higher than that of the PS3 over the 360, and even then they would end the gen on level terms only, not actually winning.

Isn't going to happen, there's no insecurity he's simply telling it like it is.
