I had my nose broken in high school by an upperclassmen wearing 4 class rings. I was sitting at a table with my friends eating lunch and heard "hey Yoder" i turned in my seat and blammo! They had to graft cartilage out of my cheeks to rebuild me nose. My folks didn't press any charges but the kid got expelled.
I got pick pocketed by a prostitute in Chicago when I was a teen. I only had like 5 bucks in my pockets and knew what she was doing but let it go. All my money was in my sock. She tried to get me to go down an ally with her for a free BJ but I declined and tried to get her to meet us at the hotel we were staying at. We gave her the room number for the room across the hall hoping she would waste her time going there, I doubt she ever showed up. That same night a guy got us into a club underage, our cabby warned us to beware of him. Once we were in the Dome Room they guy tried talking us into going to a party at a private residence and we we just lost him in the club. It was a really fun night.
Had my house broke into just before Christmas one year, it cost more to replace the window they broke than to replace what was stolen. It freaked my wife (wife at the time) out. I have quit locking my doors since she and i divorced and not had a problem since.
