Honestly, since I have never encountered crime for the most part, I fear travelling abroad will be a rude awakening if I get mugged or anything in Europe or Southeast Asia. I went to Japan a year ago and it was pretty much the same thing as my small town except urban, but no crime. Of course tons of shady people tried to reel me in to shady places to possibly drug and mug or scam me out of money.
