Cerevo is a startup looking to bring yet another layer of immersion to virtual reality by letting you "feel the virtual world." According to Gizmodo, the Cerevo Taclim has both a pair of shoes and gloves with haptic feedback. Essentially, in your VR game you'll be able to feel the ground you're walking on and get a better sense of what you're touching.

Ladykiller in a Bind, "an erotic romantic comedy about social manipulation, crossdressing, and girls tying up other girls," promises "choice-driven mechanics, and lots of sex." Generally speaking, that's the sort of thing you tend not to see on Steam. But designer Chrstine Love has revealed on Twitter that it will in fact be released on Steam, early next week, with all its naughty bits intact.

WILDSTAR'S HUGE FEBRUARY PATCH WILL REVAMP THE ENDGAME

In February, a big update for the MMORPG Wildstar is scheduled to arrive, an update that developer Carbine Studios reckons will introduce "engaging, high-end content, as well as a variety of incredible new systems focused at end-game players". So if you've maxed out your character and have spent the last while in Wildstar twiddling their virtual thumbs, know that you'll soon be able to advance past level 50.

 

KILLER INSTINCT ADDS NEW MURDEROUS ROBOT NAMED KILGORE

Iron Galaxy has released a new murderous cyborg for its chunky fighting game Killer Instinct. Kilgore—an early version of the established Fulgore model—will set you back $10, and judging by the name, it was made with the express purpose of eliminating the USA's 45th vice president. Catacomb Kids, the best roguelike you're not playing, received an update over the festive period that added a wintry new environment named the Anticropolis. As Smite Tactics enters closed beta, Hi-Rez have announced another Smite-inspired card-based free to play game for PC. Where Tactics is a turn-based strategy game, Smite Rivals pits waves of minions against one another down three MOBA-inspired lanes. Players build decks of minions and powers as one of a number of Smite gods for quick, one-on-one battles.

Hi-Rez have announced the next wave of major changes to Smite at Hi-Rez Expo in Atlanta. Leading the charge is a new pantheon of gods, the Celts, and their first champion—The Morrigan. She's a mobile mage with the ability to create a decoy of herself and a crazy ultimate ability. When activated, she can pick any god currently in pay and transform into them for a short duration of time, gaining access to all of their abilities—including their ultimate. Whether that means creating a copy of your team's loaded-up hunter to boost your damage at a crucial moment or borrowing the enemy's best teamfight ultimate, she should make a big impact.
