The hype fizzled out long before that. It looked very good and mysterious at Gamescon 2013
Then nothing for a year and not much more to show at Gamescon 2014, followed by more nothing in 2015, then the breakup with Sony in March 2016 for lack of game, then it re-appeared last December, and is now suddenly set for release in May on multiple platforms. Very odd development history. I'm hoping it will be good and more than a 2 hour experience activating the next sequence. Just how can it go from getting dropped for lack of progress on 1 platform in 4 years, to being complete for mulitple platforms in less than another year?
It looks like a lovely world to explore, so still cautiously optimistic.
That (the lack of game) was just a rumour. It seems that they have a game now, so it wasn't vaporware.
