They do if they just visit the official websites, little effort, but such a major issue for your expertise. If I would work in a game store I would inform myself about all the details.
When I called a game store about the adapter issue for my WII, really the guy said.... yes I think you can use the European AC adapter with your Japanese WII as the WII is regionfree anyway... Ex...cuse me??!!
