But I don't think we know that for sure. The 3ds is able to sell 60 million and it doesn't have games like GTA, RDR, COD and etc. It has Nintendo games and big third party japanese exclusives. You take those two, pair that up with big western third party games and I think they would have a big winner. Not having the big western third party becomes more of a gamble.

I think if they at least try it once after this many years and then if it doesn't help, then they could scratch that off rather than not trying it at all. Cause really, it would be a mix of experiences you won't get on other consoles + the third party games people love on other consoles.

Then again, I guess I should at least wait till January 12th before fully thinking Nintendo hasn't done something like that yet.

Im sure Nintendo would be more than happy with 60 million sold. It would be great to get better western support of course. I think Nintendo are trying to reach out to third parties, but paying them to port their games seems a bit much. They have made a console thats easy to make games for, thats the best they can do other than market it well. If it sells well and its easy to port games to, then the third parties will take notice.

Yea but I will hope that Nintendo at least tries something apart from just the basics. 60 million is a pretty good number but they don't exactly have a carry device if it doesn't sell well. We shall see what the end result is soon enough and hopefully, it all works out
