The War on Terror had hardly on effect on the life of a Millennial unless they lost a loved one in a terror attack or in a theater of war. As a result to compare that war to how previous generations went through the world Wars or even Vietnam is a bad comparison.

Millennials do have it very easy and imo it does make them weak imo compared to past generations in terms of strength and grit. I would argue it is a bit like the late Roman Empire...

Of course we have more tolerance and overall peace but that is simply a byproduct of our time then people being born with goodness in them.

I doubt we young people would obsess SJW causes and safe spaces if the society they lived in had existential threats as generations in the past had to deal with.
