It didn't kill Xbox One sales. Though Sony still won't do it.

They'll just market the shit out of the PS4 and Pro for 14ish months.

Microsoft will go "4K gaming, Blu Ray, and streaming for $499" and Sony will go "4K gaming and entertainment on the worlds best selling console for $349"

Because Scorpio is compatible with the XB1. PS5 will be a whole new thing and not part of the PS4 family like the scorpio is with the XB1 family.

Even if they market it as so MS can still market the Slim as the affordable option and Scorpio as the most powerful console and the only console to support true 4K 60fps.

That's true. Like I said I don't expect Sony to say anything about the PS5 that early either way.

Actually the Scorpio won't be the only console with 4K 60fps games. The Pro has a handful of games that run at that performance including FIFA 17. I expect more games (especially sports games) will follow.

Obviously the Scorpio will have more 4K/60 games, but it's not the only one.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
